The LAA is raising awareness about lymphoedema through the campaign "Shine a Light on Lymphoedema”.
The organisation has approached councils, businesses and venues around Australia for their support, and they have agreed to light up their buildings, sculptures, bridges and other landmarks. See the list below to find out if a region near you is lit in blue.
We aim to "Shine a Light on Lymphoedema" across all of Australia, from North to South and East to West! With your help, we can raise awareness for those Australians suffering from this condition.
Help “Shine a light on Lymphoedema” by taking a photo of yourself with a lit up landmark near you and post it to social media. Share content and don’t forget to tag your local member for parliament! Please email us at admin@lymphaustralia.org.au with your photo of a landmark near you for our next edition of the Node News*. Make sure you let us know the city and state of your landmark.

We’ve been working hard to raise awareness by reaching out to Councils, Government, and Property Owners across the country to "Shine a Light on Lymphoedema". Thanks to these efforts, the following locations have been confirmed for 2026, and we hope to add even more in the coming weeks.
